Through strong market penetration, with a reputation for producing high quality products and delivering on time, Korvest is one of the Pacific’s largest suppliers of cable and pipe support systems and galvanising services.The opportunity now exists to appoint a new Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager who will further drive the existing culture of accountability for health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace. The HSE Manager will be responsible for coordinating, implementing and communicating all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives. The position will provide strategic direction to the company to ensure all legal responsibilities and internal objectives are met along with hands-on advice and support to Managers and the opportunity to be innovative in the role. Other duties will include regularly performing audits and updates to all Korvest policies and procedures, as well as internal audits at Kilburn and interstate Branches. The HSE Manager will have in-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and best practices with hands-on experience of implementation.The successful candidate will be an adaptable and hands-on self-starter, with a talent for problem solving. As a team player your energy and confidence will further inspire the safety culture across the organisation. A qualification in Health and Safety or a related discipline with previous experience in a similar role is desirable. You will have exceptional communication skills, enabling you to develop strong interpersonal relationships across all areas of the business. Industry experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing or production of a similar nature to Korvest would be desirable, however a talented HSE Manager who brings transferrable, strong leadership skills to the role will be considered.
