About the role: An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join a supportive and highly reputable company on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with potential for longer ter The company is based in the Northern Beaches and they offer hybrid working arrangements (2-3 days work from home free parking on-site). Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced accounts receivable officer who is eager to learn and utilise their current skill set. They are well-known leaders in the industry and are known for having a supportive culture, where everyone is valued. The Responsibilities: Provides support to the Finance department through the ownership of reconciliations and processing duties within Accounts Receivable. Responsible for timely collection of debts, including chasing of overdue accounts. Responsible for the appropriate recommendation of Provision for Doubtful Debts put forth to the Assistant Accountant/Financial Controller at each financial month-end. Processing credit notes Completing bank deposits/cash receipts Uploading claim files to NDIS portal Responsible for setting up new customers/clients and ensuring all checks are adhere to The successful applicant Prior experience within Accounts Receivable (other accounts experience is also advantageous) Strong communication skills as a priority and a positive attitude and be a keen learner. Collaborative - works well in a team Ability to reconcile Accounts Receivable collections amounts, with exceptional organisation skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills How to apply?
