What's the role?
This is a Line 1 risk role focused on improving how fraud and scams are managed across Everyday Banking products. You'll work closely with product managers and teams across fraud, financial crime and digital to assess gaps, uplift controls and support incident management.
You'll apply risk frameworks in a practical way, helping product teams understand where controls need strengthening and supporting them to make improvements. This role suits someone with risk experience who enjoys working hands‐on with the business and understands systems and customer journeys.
This role is Sydey-based, and a Parental Leave Cover for a 12‐month period.
What do I need?
* Experience working in a Line 1 risk, business risk, product or change role (for example Risk Manager or Business Analyst etc), with exposure to fraud and scams is highly desirable
* Ability to assess fraud and scam risks, identify control gaps and work with product managers to uplift controls and manage incidents
* Experience developing or maintaining Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs), including control design, control gap assessment and policy uplift
* Confidence managing stakeholders across product, fraud, financial crime and digital teams, and running meetings independently with strong initiative
* A curious and commercial mindset, with clear and concise communication skills, strong email writing, and experience using risk systems or tools
