Our organization is seeking a dedicated individual to join its laboratory team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a global workforce that utilizes scientific expertise to make a positive impact on the world.
This role involves working in a cutting-edge laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We are looking for a full-time employee who can assist in various processes associated with laboratory work.
This position offers a permanent opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyze water and soil samples according to established quality control procedures
* Interpret results and enter them into the laboratory information management system
* Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within set timeframes, adhering to relevant analysis standards
* Organize daily work to optimize efficiency and meet turnaround requirements
* Maintain equipment, including calibration and cleaning
* Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
* Assist with ad-hoc sampling, sample receipt, and housekeeping tasks as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working in a high-throughput, client-focused environment, preferably in a commercial laboratory setting
* Good knowledge of chemistry and demonstrated competency in laboratory skills
* Effective written and verbal communication, computer literacy
* Well-organized, task-focused, with attention to detail
* Strong team player able to work autonomously and with initiative
* A clear understanding of health, safety, and environmental principles and practices, with a commitment to safe working
