What's the role?
As a Lending Area Manager in Virtual Lending, you will lead a team of lenders delivering personalised financial solutions through digital channels, including video and phone consultations. Your team will support customers who choose to bank online, ensuring they receive timely, expert guidance and a seamless end‑to‑end experience.
You will champion a customer‑centric culture, strengthen referral and partnership networks, and apply data‑driven discipline to pipeline management, risk oversight, and performance outcomes. Through strong leadership and coaching, you'll build capability, drive sustainable growth, and foster trusted, long‑term customer relationships in a virtual environment.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney NSW or Lomond TAS.
What do I need?
* Proven people leadership in home lending or in retail banking environment (focused on Home Lending), with a track record of coaching sales teams to exceed goals.
* Strong commercial acumen with proven performance levers, analytics and disciplined pipeline management.
* An understanding of the end‑to‑end home lending journey and driving significant customer outcomes.
* Solid capability in managing risk and regulatory obligations.
* Strength in stakeholder management and building productive referral networks.
