Aboutthe Department for CorrectionalServicesThe Department employsapproximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisonsand fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Ourvision is for a safer community by protecting the public andreducing re-offending. We work towards this through thecontribution of staff who are employed in a wide variety of fields,from correctional officers and teachers, to social workers,psychologists and supervisors of court orders. Duties
TheOffice Administrator is responsible for the provision of keyadministrative support duties within the Community CorrectionalCentre, which facilitates the effective delivery of services tooffenders assigned to the Department and itsstakeholders.
SpecialConditions
- Section47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction withother provisions of the act and otherapplicable industrial entitlements.
- Theincumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a NationalCriminal History Check;
- Acurrent South Australian Driver’s Licence isessential;
- Aflexible approach to working hours is required;
- Someinterstate and intrastate travel will be required which maynecessitate overnight absences.
