**ABOUT THE COMPANY**:
Breaking Barriers Disability Services is an NDIS Registered Provider and services all areas from Sydney through to Newcastle. We pride ourselves on providing person centered supports to our Participants through Community Access, In Home Supports, Social Supports, Coordination of Supports, Supported Independent Living and Community Nursing. Our Programs are tailored to provide people living with disabilities and their families, services to help them live safely and comfortably at home while actively enjoying their local Community.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
This role will involve ensuring that Participants’ needs are met by allocating staff with the appropriate skill set and also undertaking reporting of restrictive practices.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Responding to staff changes required by Participants and staff by adjusting schedules and communicating with stakeholders daily.
- Ensuring hours worked by staff are monitored each pay cycle to ensure employees are working within award conditions and ensure correct costing is applied to supports.
- Liaising with the Payroll department to ensure accuracy of staff wages.
- Responding to employee queries regarding their rosters.
- Processing leave requests in consultation with HR and organising leave relief.
- Monitoring rosters and schedules to ensure that the support delivered to Participants reflect their current service agreement.
- Reporting the use of the business’ restrictive practices.
- Attending restrictive practice panel meetings.

- Solid time management and the ability to prioritise duties
- Previous experience working in disability services with a strong understanding of person centred care
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to restrictive practices
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check for Paid Employment
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be completed if successful)
- Basic Infection Prevention & Control Orientation Module (can be completed if successful)
