IT Manager Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Manager to join our team and lead the development of our computing systems.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and be able to implement processes to meet specific system requirements, evaluate current technology use and recommend improvements, and ensure that support tasks are completed in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and have a Bachelors or higher degree in a relevant field.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate current technology use and needs of the company and recommend software and hardware improvements
* Plan, strategize, and implement processes to meet specific system requirements
* Ensure that support tasks are completed in a timely manner
* Understand training needs of individual personnel and ensure they are met
* Manage budgets for software and hardware
* Collaborate with vendors, users, and managers to understand and assess computing system needs and requirements
* Oversee backup, security, and user help systems
* Manage password and employee access to systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Essential Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
* Ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training
* Bachelors or higher degree in relevant field
* Related experience required
