Publicis Groupe ANZ is looking for a
Data Strategy Director
to lead data-driven customer and CRM strategies across acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty. You will partner closely with clients and internal teams to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that drives measurable growth.

The role

As Data Strategy Director, you will shape and lead our strategic data offering across CRM, loyalty, and omnichannel marketing. Sitting within the Data team, you will guide strategy development, mentor analysts, and help clients unlock the full value of their customer data.

This is a senior role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and client partnership.

What you will be doing

* Lead CRM and loyalty strategies that improve engagement, retention, and lifetime value
* Define data strategy visions and roadmaps aligned to client goals
* Design measurement frameworks, dashboards, and experimentation programs
* Drive audience segmentation, persona development, and predictive insights
* Ensure data is integrated across channels to support unified customer journeys
* Present insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders
* Uphold data governance, privacy, and quality best practices
* Mentor and lead analysts, fostering a culture of learning and innovation

You will thrive in this role if you…

* Have strong experience in data strategy or analytics, including CRM and marketing performance experience
* Have led data-driven initiatives for large, complex clients
* Are confident in shaping strategy and influencing senior stakeholders
* Enjoy leading teams and collaborating across disciplines
* Are comfortable translating complex data into clear, compelling stories

Technical experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, GA4, and CRM/CDP platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Braze, Adobe) will set you up for success, but curiosity and strategic thinking matter just as much.
