Are you a systems professional ready to drive meaningful transformation across secure government environments?
Resolve Recruit is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support a major applications modernisation program. You'll analyse, design, and implement reliable, secure and scalable ICT solutions – rehosting legacy workloads to supported platforms, accelerating cloud adoption and improving interoperability in line with government standards.
Working with architects, engineers and business stakeholders, you'll document solution designs, guide integration across complex environments and contribute to continuous improvement of platforms and practices aligned to Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) standards and cyber security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse, design, and implement reliable, secure and scalable ICT systems.
* Identify legacy on-premise systems for modernisation or migration to cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with policy, security, and operational requirements.
* Develop and document technical designs, specifications and solution architectures aligned to enterprise architecture and ICT strategies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, developers, BAs) to ensure effective, coordinated delivery.
* Work across complex technical environments, leveraging modern technology stacks to deliver integrated solutions consistent with DTA standards and best practices.
* Contribute to process improvement and optimisation across platforms, tooling and delivery methods.
Key Experience and Skills:
* Minimum five (5) years' experience in systems analysis within large/complex ICT environments.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and enterprise platforms.
* Demonstrated systems integration expertise (APIs, middleware, data flows, authentication/authorisation).
* Proven process improvement and optimisation experience.
* Solid grasp of compliance and security frameworks in government or regulated sectors.
* Current, active Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (or higher).
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services (e.g., Azure, M365).
* Data analytics and reporting experience.
* Automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, CI/CD).
