Host Safety and Training (RTO 40772) is part of the Parabellum International Group, a National leader in Emergency Response, Medical, Safety, and Risk Management services. Together, our group delivers accredited and non-accredited training programs designed for high-risk, industrial, mining, oil & gas, and construction environments.
We operate state-of-the-art training facilities across Australia — including the Sunshine Coast, Gladstone, Darwin and Perth.
As we continue to grow our national footprint, we are seeking skilled and passionate Trainer Assessors to support our expanding operations in Caloundra. on the Sunshine Coast.
We are looking for experienced industry professionals who can deliver high-quality, engaging, and compliant training across a range of disciplines. This role involves training delivery, assessment, and practical demonstrations within our purpose-built facilities and client sites as required.
Areas of experience that are highly regarded include:
High Pressure Water JettingConfined space and vertical rescueWorking at HeightsFirst aid and Medical responseWorkplace safety and compliance
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements -TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, orTAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, orTAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, orA secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set, orTAESS00019 Assessor Skills Set or its successor, orTAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skills Set or its successor, orA Diploma of higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training
Industry Skills & Qualifications -Possess the relevant vocational qualifications, current industry skills, and practical experience required to deliver and assess trainingStrong understanding of WHS practices, emergency response operations, or high-risk work environmentsAbility to deliver training that is practical, engaging, and aligned to industry expectationsHigh level of professionalism, communication, and learner-focused approach
Trainer/Assessor ResponsibilitiesEnsure all accredited training and assessment practices comply with SRTOs 2025, relevant RTO requirements, and organisational policiesParticipate in assessment validation activities to ensure quality and consistencyEnsure all non-accredited training, deliver and assess in accordance with organisational policies and proceduresMaintain accurate and up-to-date training and assessment documentationSupport learners throughout the training process, providing guidance and feedbackContribute to the continuous improvement of training and assessment resourcesUndertake ongoing professional development to maintain industry currency, vocational competency, and compliance with RTO obligations
