The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available within the National Buying department of our organization, based in Minchinbury NSW. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant, your key responsibilities will include coordinating product compliance, safety, and testing with suppliers, Technical Service Providers, and other stakeholders.
You will consult with buying teams to bring quality electrical products to the market.
* Prepare, design, and facilitate product compliance testing.
* Develop and communicate technical information to key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the broader Buying department and Technical Service Providers.
* Support the implementation of quality and safety processes.
* Develop, implement, and maintain product performance requirements.
* Ensure product compliance with mandatory standards, requirements, and policies.
* Manage the performance of external testing laboratories and Technical Service Providers.
* Conduct product testing to provide stakeholders with detailed performance reports.
* Demonstrated ability to provide recommendations based on analysis and testing results.
* Investigate customer returns and complaints.

What We Need From You
We are looking for candidates with:
* Demonstrated test laboratory work experience highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience within the QA, Electrical or Manufacturing industry.
* Tertiary education within the electrical, electronics, or engineering field preferred.
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and product label compliance.
* Experience in the development of product specifications, technical investigation, and report writing.
* Experience in performing quality assessments.
* Previous experience communicating technical information to stakeholders.

Remuneration
This role offers a transparent tiered salary range of $96,800 - $107,600, including superannuation.
