Based in Southbank, Melbourne, this role supports both our manufacturing site and our national supplier network-including packaging, 3 PL, and 3 PM relationships.This is a supplier-focused, nationally visible role that involves leading performance monitoring, auditing, and improvement of key suppliers across VIC and interstate (including Sydney and Kyabram), with cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Your work will influence operational quality and supplier relationships.Key Responsibilities:Manage and improve the Vendor Assurance Program for all liquid milk suppliersMonitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and action plansLead supplier review meetings and stakeholder engagement on quality mattersConduct quality trials related to fresh milk, packaging, and filling linesRepresent quality in supplier and site trials, customer complaints, and incident responsesCollaborate with NPD, Regulatory, Operations, and Marketing for new launches and onboardingSupport site activities as needed, focusing on the broader supplier landscapeTravel regularly (1-2 nights/month) for site visits and supplier meetingsAbout YouYou should have experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, with deep expertise in supplier quality within fresh milk, food, or beverage categories.Ideal skills and experience include:8-10+ years in Quality Management within food/FMCGA degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fieldStrong stakeholder management skills at both technical and commercial levelsExperience with quality trials, complaint resolution, and packaging quality managementA collaborative approach with clear communication and relationship-building skillsPractical knowledge of HACCP, audits, and GMPFlexibility to adapt to evolving business needsMust hold a current driver's license and be willing to travel across VIC and interstateWhy Join Us?The a2 Milk Company Australia is a certified Family Inclusive Workplace, committed to supporting work-life balance through flexible policies on work arrangements, parental leave, and family wellbeing.
