Search Engine Optimisation Role

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in helping individuals discover properties through organic search. They will report to the Head of Search and be responsible for driving organic traffic to key websites.

1. Develop and deliver organic search strategies that support business goals across various platforms.
\
2. Advocate for search engine optimisation as a key customer acquisition channel across teams, including Product, Marketing, Design and Development.
\
3. Support roadmap prioritisation, especially for major properties like real estate and commercial sites.
\
4. Drive initiatives around technical audits, site architecture, structured data, keyword strategies and internal linking.
\
5. Monitor site performance, report on experiments and proactively flag issues or opportunities.
\
6. Collaborate with Marketing to align search strategy with editorial content and provide topic and keyword insights.
\
7. Upskill the broader business through search workshops and guidance on best practice implementation.
\
8. Stay ahead of the curve on search trends, industry changes, competitor strategies and LLM-based search evolution.
\
\
9. Minimum 3 years of search engine optimisation experience, ideally with enterprise-level websites.
\
10. Proven track record in keyword research, technical audits and content optimisation.
\
11. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with PHP.
\
12. Experience working in cross-functional teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
\
13. A solid understanding of data, analytics and reporting – Google Analytics, SQL and Tableau are a bonus.
\
14. Hands-on experience with search tools such as Screaming Frog, aHrefs, SEMrush and DeepCrawl.
\
\
15. Familiarity with AI and LLM tools (such as ChatGPT).
\
16. Experience in real estate or media.
\
17. Knowledge of search measurement in AI-generated search results.
