Job Description
Due to rapid growth our client is now urgently seeking to recruit an experienced Water Treatment Service Engineer/Chemist to join their well‐established water treatment company for various contracts in around the Norfolk area. Undertaking duties such as flushing of calorifiers and providing a full range of service chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors. Applications from Kings Lynn, Ipswich, Peterborough and surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience
* Strong educational, chemical and water treatment background required.
* Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Must have prior experience working in this role.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
Role
* Chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
* Maintenance on domestic and industrial water systems.
* Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sector properties as per site management control logs.
* Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
* Providing the full range of service chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
* Flushing of calorifiers.
* Updating of site log books.
* Maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
