We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Health andPhysical Education (HPE) Teacher to join our vibrantteaching team in 2026. This full-time teaching position offers anexciting opportunity to inspire students in their journey towardslifelong health, fitness, and wellbeing, while fostering valuessuch as teamwork, resilience, and respect.
As a member of the teaching staff, you will play a key role inshaping a positive and inclusive learning environment wherestudents thrive academically and personally. You'll alsocontribute to our school's sports and co-curricular programs,supporting students' holistic development and fostering aculture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Health and PhysicalEducation lessons in line with the Western AustralianCurriculum.
* Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environmentthat encourages active participation and achievement.
* Actively contribute to the school's sports programsand co-curricular activities, including interschool andcommunity sporting events.
* Assess and report on student progress in accordance withschool and curriculum requirements.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the widercommunity to support student learning and wellbeing.
* Model values of teamwork, discipline, resilience, andrespect in all areas of teaching and coaching.
Selection Criteria:
* A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and activeinvolvement in a Christian church.
* A clear alignment with SCEA's Statement of Faith andFoundational Beliefs.
* Registration (or eligibility) with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) .
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health andPhysical Education .
* A strong understanding of the Western AustralianCurriculum in HPE.
* Capacity to integrate ICT effectively into teaching andlearning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to ongoing professional learning andgrowth.
* A current Working with Children Check(WWCC) or ability to obtain one.
* Experience in coaching and coordinating school sportsteams.
