The position of a Mechanical Reliability Engineer requires expertise in maintenance systems, including parts, procedures, work quality and processes.
Responsibilities involve:
* Developing and implementing operational procedures for the team focusing on reliability
* Ensuring site compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
* Executing projects from initiation through completion, including creating PIA's and SOR's, and submitting ERN's
* Carrying out quality checks on executed tasks as needed
* Collaborating in site equipment and system audits to guarantee alignment with organizational requirements
* Reviewing current execution outcomes to ensure compliance with preventive maintenance
An ideal candidate should have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
* At least 3 years of experience in a comparable mining or heavy industry environment
* Exceptional computer skills
* Deep understanding of Asset Management principles and past experience
* Emphasis on occupational health and safety with awareness of mining laws and regulations
* Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* High level of technical accuracy and detail orientation
