Legal Counsel | Broad In-House Role (2–10 PAE)
Most in-house roles talk about "variety". This one actually delivers it.
We're working on a newly created Legal Counsel opportunity with a large, complex organisation where legal is embedded in the business and involved across the full spectrum of work.
You'll get exposure across commercial, regulatory, property/leasing and disputes, all within a team that is busy, well-regarded and genuinely relied on by the business.
The role
Working closely with several senior lawyers in a strong existing legal team, you will:
* Have a contract focus - drafting / negotiating a range of commercial agreements
* Advise on governance, compliance and regulatory matters
* Advise on property-related work, including leasing (experience helpful, not essential)
* Assist with disputes and general risk issues
It's hands‐on, varied and very much a "roll your sleeves up" environment.
About you
You will have a minimum 2 years' PAE with a demonstrated background in contract law. This could be your first move in‐house or you may already have in‐house experience.
Either way, you'll bring solid commercial instincts, good drafting skills and the ability to give clear, practical advice.
