Job Title: Payroll and HR Support Officer
This is an opportunity to work in a temporary part-time role supporting the payroll and human resources teams.
The successful candidate will provide support with all payroll matters, including processing data under tight timeframes. They will also be responsible for working collaboratively across different sections of the council, thinking creatively to solve problems that arise within payroll and HR, and confidently using council systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to work across a range of human resources functions.
* Demonstrated experience in payroll processing or ability to accurately process data under tight timeframes.
* Demonstrated sound ability to research, evaluate, and interpret user information requirements, and develop appropriate suggestions to assist the team improve processes and systems.
* Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of and administration of human resource management information and/or payroll systems.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines and achieve performance objectives with supervision.
