Your new role: As the Clinical Governance and Safety Officer, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist expertise to drive patient safety and quality initiatives across the Emergency and Clinical Support Service Line.
Working closely with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will shape clinical governance systems, support NSQHS accreditation activities, and use data-driven insights to improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include: Providing expert leadership in patient safety, quality improvement and clinical governance Leading NSQHS Standards activities, including gap analysis, audits and short-notice assessments Analysing safety, quality and performance data to inform decision-making and service improvement Supporting incident management, investigation and reporting (including RiskMan/CAMMS) About you: You are a senior health professional with strong clinical judgement and a passion for patient safety and quality improvement.
You thrive in complex environments, work confidently at an autonomous level, and influence change through collaboration and evidence-based practice.
