We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our client on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management, presentation, and operational performance of two key retail assets, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high‐performing environment for all stakeholders.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and can confidently manage customers, contractors, stakeholders, and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day‐to‐day operation and presentation of the assets
* Manage service providers and contractors to ensure high‐quality, cost‐effective service delivery
* Assist with operational and capital expenditure budgeting
* Coordinate capital works, tenancy fit‐outs, and small projects
* Ensure full compliance across all regulatory and safety requirements (including WHS, fire safety, essential services, and plant compliance)
* Monitor and manage asset performance, contributing to reporting requirements
* Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, key stakeholders and members of the public
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations and systems
* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to WHS practices and procedures
About You
You are a proactive and detail‐oriented Facilities professional with strong stakeholder management and customer facing skills and a commitment to delivering high‐quality outcomes.
You will bring
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Facilities Management
* Demonstrated experience managing contractors, budgets, and service delivery
* Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Experience with maintenance planning and asset operations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A customer‐focused approach with the ability to build strong tenant relationships
Desirable
* Diploma in Facilities or Project Management, or a relevant trade qualification
