Tell me about this role:
Amentum are seeking a Product Manager for an above the line role in Aerospace enterprise. The Project Manager plays a critical role in leading and delivering Defence-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with Defence standards, and successful stakeholder engagement.
This role will see you drive the development and management of the Integrated Product Management Plan (IPdMP) which will manage, coordinate and integrate the resources and activities required to sustain the aerospace products for the duration of the Product lifecycle through to disposal.
What will I be doing day to day?
* Develop and manage the Program Integrated Schedule providing Program overview and coordination of Products and Services
* Establish and document program Integration, communication and decision making processes including process flows for decisions making
* Develop the Annual Program Planning and Budget Control of Defence Management & Financial Plan (DMFP) products
* Support Performance Reporting in accordance with CASG and Army Financial reporting processes
* Provide specialist advice to requirements definition
* Support planning, monitoring and controlling of programs / products across the Capability Life Cycle
* Provide specialist advice in relations to issues, risks and new initiatives
What sort of skills do I need?
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or business
* Proven experience in Defence project management, ideally within CASG
* Strong understanding of Defence acquisition processes, ASDEFCON documentation, and capability lifecycle
* Understanding of contractual artifacts and contract management plans
* Hold a minimum NV1 clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
