About the Role
As a Referral Growth Specialist, you will combine sales and stakeholder engagement to drive growth by connecting with healthcare professionals, promoting hospital services, and enhancing community awareness.
You will collaborate with teams to develop and execute strategies that promote specialists, psychologists, and programs through visits and other initiatives, targeting non-admitting psychiatrists to increase referrals.
To succeed in this role, you will deliver targeted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs for specialists, registrars, GPs, and other health professionals, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with teams to develop and execute growth strategies
* Promote specialists, psychologists, and programs through practice visits and other initiatives
* Target non-admitting psychiatrists to increase referrals
* Deliver targeted CPD programs for specialists, registrars, GPs, and other health professionals
* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role in healthcare
* Strong understanding of medical specialists and referral dynamics with GPs and other healthcare professionals
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
* Ability to effectively engage key healthcare stakeholders
* Experience in using data to monitor markets, build opportunity pipelines, and develop growth strategies
* Proficiency in cold calling and influencing referrer groups
