About the role:
The Psychologist is a member of aninter-disciplinary team and works with children and young peoplewith developmental, cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural andphysical difficulties, and exceptional needs (including giftedness)and their families. The Psychologist works with preschool andschool staff, and parents to develop evidence-based psychologyinterventions that include proactive, targeted and intensivestrategies that can be adapted for learning and home contexts.
This position works under theprofessional support and direction of the Senior Psychologist.
Student Support Services are on acultural response journey, as such we value and prioritiseAboriginal ways of knowing, doing and being.
Qualifications:
Essential: Current and full registration(general) with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Desirable: Nil
Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department forHuman Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five yearsbefore expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect -Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course orthe online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to beupdated every three years.

Remuneration:
* AHP2 $88,255 - $102,240 per annum (1.0 FTE) +superannuation (11.5%)

Drive in - drive out will beconsidered upon negotiation for the right applicant.
