Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Specialist to join their Risk, Assurance and Standards team. In this role, you will lead and manage strategic investigations into retailers and installers to assess compliance with program terms and conditions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective compliance frameworks, analysing findings, preparing investigation briefs, and providing evidence-based recommendations to support organisational integrity and improved safety outcomes within the renewable energy sector. The role also involves providing leadership, training, and mentoring to staff to strengthen compliance capability and ensure the effective use of regulatory tools. You will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory partners to drive consistent and transparent compliance outcomes, contributing to the organisation's mission of delivering clean and affordable energy to Victorians.
Suitable candidates will have demonstrated experience in compliance, risk, or investigations within a regulatory or enforcement environment, ideally in the construction or electrical industry. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and deliver practical solutions. A Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or equivalent qualification would be highly regarded.
