Description Are you a customer service professional looking to start your career in banking? Working with us at People First Bank as a Member Service Consultant, you will be the face of our business for our members and will be responsible for delivering consistent high quality customer service. About the role As a Member Service Consultant, you will build rapport and trust with customers by listening to their needs, finding solutions to their problems, and aligning them to the right products. This position will be based our Ballarat branch and offered on a permanent part-time basis, with set hours; Monday to Friday, 09:15am- 4:15pm. In this role, your passion for customer service will be crucial, as we are a customer-owned organisation dedicated to meeting our customers’ needs. You will be empowered to have meaningful conversations with our customers. You will understand their financial position, goals and aspirations and help align our products to their needs, specialising in personal loans, credit cards, insurance, and financial planning services. You will also onboard and help our customers begin their banking journey with confidence. In this role, you'll guide new customers through the account setup process, explain banking products and services, and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for providing personalised support, answering questions, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed, with customers both in person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
