To support this momentum, they are seeking a skilled and proactive Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance and help safeguard the integrity of their operations. The Role The Compliance Manager will play a key role in fostering a strong culture of compliance, risk awareness, and regulatory integrity across the organisation. This hands-on position requires a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and managing compliance risks, while ensuring the business remains aligned with all relevant regulatory requirements. Duties include: Stay updated on all Australian financial services and credit regulations, including NCCP, AFSL, ASIC, ASUTRAC and ACL requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to these regulations. Establish and maintain a compliance monitoring program to assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and systems. Prepare and submit regular reports on compliance status to the senior management team, regulators, and licensing authorities as required. Identify and assess regulatory and operational risks specific to the Australian market and develop strategies to mitigate them. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and regulatory agencies. Establish and manage a robust breach reporting system and process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant authorities. Your Profile The successful candidate will demonstrate: Prior experience within the consumer lending industry, with a focus on AFSL, NCCP, ACL compliance Deep knowledge of Australian financial services Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
