Currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter for our site in Sunshine We have a state of the art recycling facility, requiring a maintenance fitter to undertake maintenance and repairs.
$55 per hour plus penalty rates for OT.
Monday to Friday with OT available.
To be successful the following is required:
* Substantial experience in line setting, changeovers, fault finding and repairs.
* Trade background or high-level mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as in unsupervised situations.
* Available for full time work, with full working rights.
Duties include:
* Setting up production lines and managing changeovers.
* Fault finding, repairing and troubleshooting machines.
* Setting and stripping production machinery.
* Overseeing production and packing workflow.
* Maintaining Health and Safety and Quality Standards.
* Maintaining plant equipment.
* Will be working mainly on our fixed plant including vibrating screens, picking stations, conveyors, magnets, eddy current, optical sorters, a PAAL baler and Lindner shredder.
* Ability to also work on earthmoving equipment preferred but not mandatory
* Hours approx. 6am-4pm. but start/finish times are negotiable
