Casual Kitchen Hands

Catering Assistants
to join our vibrant hospitality team. Help us deliver high-quality, home-style meals that support the health and wellbeing of older Australians in our care.
Kitchen Hand Positions - What You'll Do
* Assist in meal preparation and plating according to dietary needs
* Support a respectful, high-quality dining experience for residents
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standards
* Ensure correct utensils and portions for each resident
* Contribute to a safe, welcoming environment with every service
Catering Assistant - What You'll Do:
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, food storage, and dining areas
* Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and follow daily cleaning checklists
* Help with the setup and service of meals to residents in dining rooms or individual rooms
* Ensure all kitchen and food safety regulations are followed, including correct storage and labelling
* Communicate any dietary concerns, resident feedback, or safety issues to relevant staff
What We're Looking For:
* No formal qualifications required - we provide training
* Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (desirable but not essential)
* A passion for food, respect for the elderly, and commitment to quality service
* NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential
