About The Opportunity
Council's Assets, Capital and Facilities unit sits within the City Services directorate and focuses on the management of the Cumberland LGA. Cumberland City Council owns and operates four (4) Aquatic Centres and two (2) Fitness facilities across the LGA which provide recreational services to our community. The Customer Service Officer – Aquatic Centre will deliver a quality customer experience and act as a first point of contact for all swim centre related enquiries and bookings.
The Successful Applicant Will Require
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid Certificate
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Strong time management and organisational ability
Experience dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
Experience using leisure management software
Experience in database management and report writing
About This Role
Casual Positions
Located at Council's Swim Centres, with occasional travel required across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council's work locations
Salary Information
Grade 4 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $***** to $***** per hour (plus casual loading), plus 12% superannuation
Weekend penalty rates apply in accordance with the Local Government Award
The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
What You'll Need To Have For This Role
The right to live and work in Australia
Be able to provide information for pre-employment checks required for the position, including attending a physical pre-employment medical examination as required
Participate in health monitoring as outlined in the risk assessment for this position and Council's Health Monitoring Procedure, as required
Provide evidence of your vaccination status as part of the employment screening process, in accordance with Council's COVID-19 Vaccination Procedure
