Division: Professional Capability - Statewide Services

Salary: Level EO2: $136,490 - $146,810 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)

This is a permanent full-time position commencing in June 2025.

We welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates. Part-time requests may be considered.

The Student Engagement and Wellbeing Directorate implements strategies to improve student engagement and wellbeing by delivering professional learning initiatives and resources for schools.

The Road Safety and Drug Education branch develops prevention education to keep children and young people safe from road-related injuries and harm from alcohol and drug use.

The Role

You will assist with planning, implementation, and evaluation of road safety and drug education programs. You will work collaboratively with school leaders, government agencies, and non-government organizations to support schools in delivering these programs across the state.

Your key responsibilities include:

* Providing access to practical support, professional learning, and resources focused on road safety and drug education.
* Liaising with members of other teams to deliver integrated services and support to schools across the state.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights.
* Hold a recognized teaching qualification and be registered or eligible for registration to teach in Western Australia.
* Hold a current 'C' class drivers' license.
* Undertake travel throughout the state, including overnight stays and small aeroplane travel to remote locations.
* Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
