**Job Summary**
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and logistics function within our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe movement of goods.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics, warehousing or production, with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with teams within warehouse/logistics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive safety performance for all despatch points across the mill site
• Take responsibility for storage and inventory control of finished product
• Lead and manage warehouse team members and contractors
• Utilize data and stakeholder insights to drive optimization in relevant areas (such as: improvement of truck turnaround times, including management of time slots and picking/staging practices)
• Monitor orders and operator performance to improve reliability of on-time delivery
• Ensure finished product is dispatched in a condition that meets quality expectations of customers
Requirements:
• Extensive logistics, warehousing or production experience
• Prior experience in building and maintaining relationships with teams within warehouse/logistics environments
• Experience in managing site safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ability to communicate and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Working knowledge of planning and logistics processes
• Prioritization skills and adaptability
• Experience working with systems such as SAP or WMS would be viewed favourably
