We are now seeking a strategic and people-focused leader to join our senior leadership team in a permanent, full-time capacity as Director of Membership.
About the role:
The Director of Membership leads a portfolio of high-impact teams – including Partnerships and Growth, Events, Member Experience and Member Compliance – to deliver exceptional value to QLS members. You'll drive member growth and retention strategies, oversee the administration and compliance of membership processes, and lead initiatives that enhance the QLS member experience across all stages of the professional journey.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a comprehensive and compelling membership offer, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that QLS continues to meet the needs of an evolving profession.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading teams that deliver member events, experiences, services and benefits
* Overseeing membership compliance, eligibility, and administration in line with regulatory requirements
* Managing membership growth strategies across all member categories
* Supporting QLS membership committees and building engagement with key member cohorts
* Contributing to membership pricing decisions and managing the associated budget
* Ensuring the voice of members is reflected in programs, services and strategic planning
About you:
You are a senior leader with a strong background in membership, engagement, or service delivery – ideally within a member-based or regulated organisation. You are known for your ability to lead high-performing teams, operationalise strategy, and deliver services that are both innovative and impactful. Your understanding of compliance frameworks and your collaborative, member-first mindset will set you apart.
What we're looking for:
* Proven senior leadership experience.
* Strong understanding of member/customer lifecycle strategies.
* Operational expertise across service delivery, events or engagement functions.
* Experience interpreting and applying compliance or regulatory frameworks.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusion and member value.
