We are currently partnering with a national professional services firm, widely respected for its work with individuals, families, and privately owned businesses across accounting, tax, wealth, and advisory.
With continued growth in their regional practice in Mildura and succession planning underway, they're looking to appoint a capable and driven Associate Partner to help lead the Accounting & Tax division – with a clear path to full Partnership.
The Opportunity
As Associate Partner – Accounting & Tax, you will play a critical leadership role within the Mildura office. This is a rare chance to take ownership of an established client portfolio, contribute to strategic decision-making, and be supported to step into equity or salaried partnership in the near future.
You'll work closely with experienced Partners and have access to national resources, while enjoying the lifestyle and community engagement unique to a thriving regional centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of SME, agricultural and high-net-worth clients.
* Provide proactive tax, structuring, and business advisory solutions.
* Mentor and develop a high-performing local team.
* Build strong client and referral relationships within the Mildura & Riverland +region.
* Drive operational efficiencies and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm.
* Work collaboratively with other service lines across the national network.
About You
* CA/CFP or similar qualified with 7+ years' experience in accounting, tax or business services.
* Strong technical expertise in accounting, compliance, tax advisory and business structuring.
* Proven experience managing client relationships and leading teams.
* Strong commercial acumen with a proactive approach to business development.
* Ready to step into a leadership position, or already operating at a senior manager or director level.
