Sheep Station Manager
We are seeking a Sheep Station Manager for Yadlamalka / Wilkatana station, located approximately 45 km north of Port Augusta, SA.
The properties are managed as a single unit, covering around 1,400 square kilometers, capable of supporting up to 19,000 DSE dorper sheep, with a conservative stocking approach.
The manager will have significant autonomy and be responsible for the overall management and development of the properties, including the development of the dorper flock, water infrastructure improvements, telemetry, yards, and fencing, aiming for benchmark standards and increased efficiency.
Accommodation is provided at the Wilkatana Homestead, a four-bedroom house from the 1970s with a fenced above-ground pool.
Applicants must have at least 5 years of managerial experience managing a pastoral sheep station. This is a senior position with potential for further promotion within the group.
