Full time Civil Engineering Technician.
This role Requires a minimum of 3 years experience or relevant qualifications.
Role Description:
Assisting engineers and project managers in various stages of project development, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects. The position requires a combination of technical skills, fieldwork experience, and a strong understanding of local regulations and standards.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software, for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, roads, bridges and other structures.
- Conduct field surveys and inspections to gather data and assess site conditions for project planning and design purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract specifications, including cost estimates and project timelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Estimating material costs and ensuring projects are within the agreed specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
- Assist in the documentation of project progress, including the preparation of progress reports, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholder as necessary to ensure project objectives are met and expectations
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
