UnitingSA is seeking an experienced and passionate practitionerto step into a Mental Health Practice Lead role ona fixed-term 2-year contract, supporting teams todeliver consistent, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented care.

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead recovery-oriented, trauma-informedpractice and support the Model of Careimplementation.
* Guide complex cases, build team capability through trainingand reflection, and drive continuous practice and qualityimprovement.
* Collaborate proactively across theMental Health Services Leadership team toensure aligned, high-quality service delivery.
Key focus areas include:
* Providing consultation on complex and high-risk cases
* Leading risk and support assessments
* Facilitating reflective practice sessions and Communitiesof Practice
* Delivering targeted training and capabilitydevelopment
* Supporting implementation of the Model of Care
* Contributing to practice frameworks, policy, and qualityimprovement initiatives
About You
You're a collaborative and experienced mental healthpractitioner who brings strong clinicalinsight and a genuine passion forstrengthening practice and supporting others to grow.
Essential Qualifications
* Degree in Social Work (eligible for AASW membership)
* Current SA Driver's Licence
* Current DHS Working with Children Check
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current National Police Clearance
Experience & Skills
You bring strong experience in mental health and complexpsychosocial practice, with the ability to support others throughcomplex case consultation and risk assessment. You're experiencedin contributing to practice development and quality improvement,and comfortable working across multidisciplinary environments. Witha solid understanding of recovery-oriented, evidence-basedapproaches, you can communicate effectively, facilitate learning,and build strong relationships to strengthen practice acrossteams.
