Part time roles available (Commencing January )
Djarragun College, a registered PBI, is located in the picturesque region of Gordonvale, just 20 minutes south of Cairns. We are seeking a part time qualified Chef/Cook with experience in commercial catering and a part time experienced Kitchen Hand to support our catering operations.
Roles
* Chef/Cook – Prepare meals for day and boarding students, and cater for school events and the college restaurant, Birrgal.
* Kitchen Hand – Assist the Chef, support kitchen staff and maintain a hygienic cooking environment.
Reporting
You will report to the Catering Manager and work alongside other qualified professionals and kitchen support staff.
Requirements
* Qualified Chef/Cook with commercial catering experience.
* Experienced Kitchen Hand skilled in kitchen support tasks.
* Current Blue Card (mandatory).
* Commitment to the advancement of educational outcomes for First Nation Australians.
