At the forefront of commerce innovation, we're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to facilitate high-impact sales growth. This dynamic role involves working closely with account executives throughout the sales process, providing product demonstrations, recommending solutions, and sharing industry expertise with prospects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong consultative approach, with the ability to educate C-level business executives and technical audiences alike. They will also be comfortable with solution architecting, project scoping, and product demonstration skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Educing prospects on our suite of commerce brands by providing a consultative, best practices approach, including analysis and analytics to match prospect's business and technical requirements;
* Conducting needs analysis and technical scoping sessions with prospective customers to gather and document key requirements;
* Becoming fluent in competitive positioning and being effective in differentiating our solutions in the marketplace;
* Providing pre-sales technical consulting to the Sales staff by participating in online demonstrations, conference calls, and site visits with our Account Executives;
* Documenting all customer questions to ensure immediate follow-up on all outstanding issues;
* Becoming a trusted advisor and the voice of our prospects and partners to Sales and Marketing teams;
* Working closely with the Account Executives to respond to proposals and RFPs to ensure that all technical information and recommendations address the client's requirements;
* Supporting our partner ecosystem, including Design and Technology partners, in developing custom solutions to meet prospect needs;
* Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Client Services, and Marketing teams to ensure that newly released features are understood and continue strengthening our value proposition;
* Leading initiatives to facilitate smoother and faster sales cycles and higher win rates;
Ideal candidates will possess 5+ years of Sales/Solutions Engineering experience in a relevant market, as well as strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON. They should be comfortable with a consultative presentation to C-level business executives and detailed, in-depth discussions with a technical audience.
