About us

The Everalls Group exists to help businesses, families, and people unlock their financial potential and build success.

Established in 1968, we are a Canberra-based business advisory and financial services firm with global reach through an international alliance operating in over 80 countries.

We bring together our team’s diverse talents to provide clarity to business, tax and wealth creation by delivering tailored, practical advice that drives smart financial decisions and growth.

We are proud of our strong, professional culture - supportive, collaborative, and human - with genuine teamwork, approachability, and camaraderie.

The Senior Paraplanner role is within Everalls Wealth Management which is the financial planning division of the Everalls Group. The Everalls Wealth Management team deliver holistic, non-conflicted advice to ongoing, high-net-worth/professional clients, often with SMSFs or Family Trusts. They work closely with our accounting and business advisory teams to provide strategic and tax-aware outcomes.

About the role

This role sits within our Everalls Wealth Management team and plays a critical part in supporting our advisers to deliver tailored, high‑quality, compliant, and strategy‑led advice.

You will work closely with our advisers and their teams across the full advice lifecycle, translating strategy into clear, accurate advice documentation and modelling outcomes that help clients understand and achieve their goals.

Your role is critical to:

Advice quality and client outcomes

Support advisers and their teams to deliver clear, compliant, and confidence‑building advice that aligns with client objectives and regulatory requirements.

Success looks like:

SOAs and ROAs are technically sound, clearly structured, and tailored to client strategy, with advice delivered right the first time and minimal rework required.

Strategy development and optimisation

Work collaboratively with advisers and their teams to shape, refine, and optimise advice strategies across superannuation, retirement, investments, insurance, and SMSFs.

Success looks like:

Advice strategies are well thought through, risks and gaps are proactively identified, and optimisation opportunities are clearly modelled and articulated.

Advice modelling, compliance, and documentation

Own the preparation and completion of SOAs and ROAs, ensuring advice is accurately modelled and compliant.

This includes modelling outcomes using Xplan (super, retirement, and investments), applying sound technical judgement, and ensuring documentation meets internal and regulatory standards.

Success looks like:

You are technically strong, detail‑focused, and confident applying strategy — not just following templates. You take pride in producing high‑quality advice documentation and enjoy working collaboratively to improve client outcomes.

About you

You are professional, approachable, and confident, and you take pride in how you present and communicate.

You:

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of superannuation, tax, investments, insurance, and SMSFs

• Consistently deliver high‑quality SOAs and ROAs with minimal rework

• Apply strategy thoughtfully and exercise professional judgement

• Identify issues, risks, and opportunities and raise them proactively

• Work independently while collaborating effectively with advisers and team members (including in a remote setting)

• Are highly organised, detail‑oriented, and compliance‑focused

• Use technology efficiently and are proactive about opportunities to improve systems & processes.

You understand that the quality of your work directly impacts both adviser efficiency and client confidence in the advice they receive.

A minimum 3+ years’ paraplanning experience, including complex advice strategies.

Why us?

You get all the benefits of working within both the boutique EWM team and the broader Everalls Group team. Our team values forward thinking, taking ownership, creating results, collaboration, respect, empowerment and straight talking.

You will be able to work in an environment focussed on excellence, professional & personal development with a team that genuinely cares about their colleagues and clients.

You will be working in a modern office with great facilities, in a convenient location.

We have an active social club with regular activities, including fortnightly team lunches and morning teas. WFH opportunities are also available once you’re settled in.
