Business Development Manager – Electrical Trade & Infrastructure With over 70 years in the market, we are on the search for a Business Development Manager who has a long-established Australian electrical infrastructure specialist with a strong reputation in healthcare and critical environments. The business is now entering a focused growth phase, expanding its footprint across new regions and project opportunities. We are looking for a trade-channel BDM who already has active Tier 1 and Tier 2 electrical contractor relationships and can open doors quickly. This is not a generalist sales role. You’ll be managing multi-state territory across VIC, SA, and WA with a base in Melbourne or Perth. Hospitals are the end user, but all sales activity is driven via electrical contractors. Contractor influence is critical, with wholesalers playing a secondary role. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 electrical contractors. Engage consultants and architects early in the design phase to influence specifications. Leverage existing electrical contractor relationships to secure project opportunities. Manage pipeline, follow-up, and territory activity end-to-end. Support contractor decision-making and wholesaler pathways when relevant What we’re looking for: Current electrical contractor relationships within the last 12 months Experience selling into hospital or healthcare projects via contractors Trade-channel sales experience within electrical or infrastructure Strong face-to-face sales capability with disciplined territory management Valid licence and willingness to travel Key Requirements: Electrical trade or technical background Experience in infrastructure, healthcare, or large commercial builds Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce experience ideal) If you are a results-driven individual with a passion for business development and are looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
