* Conducting comprehensive telephone assessments.
* Recommending the appropriate time and place of care.
* Referring callers to other services such as the GP Helpline, Urgent Care Clinics, and Virtual Emergency Departments.

About You

You are a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse, driven by a passion for delivering exceptional virtual care. You want to make a difference by providing early, appropriate support to Australians with their healthcare needs and reducing avoidable strain on emergency services by connecting consumers to the right care at the right time, the first time.

* A varied nursing background involving substantial public contact, including but not limited to complex primary health, acute medical, or emergency department settings.
* Confidence in applying critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations across all age groups and clinical presentations.
* Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with compassion and professionalism. You will interact with external services and serve vulnerable population groups with high rates of mental health issues, limited English proficiency, elderly, and poor health literacy.
* A high affinity with using computer systems, including telehealth platforms, databases, and digital communication tools.
* Enjoy making a difference in a flexible, home-based environment.
* Must be located within Australia.
