The opportunity
Our People and Culture team support our organisation through all parts of their employee lifecycle. With a number of upcoming projects for completion, we're seeking a People and Culture Advisor to join the team on a 12 month basis, supporting both the Organisation Culture Specialist and the People and Culture Manager.
Your role as People and Culture Advisor will see you assisting the Organisation Culture Specialist with PSC's internal Career Development program and providing advice on career planning and personal development. Outside of these tasks, you will assist the People and Culture Manager with a variety of P&C initiatives and projects, advising on policies and procedures, effective reporting, research and data analysis.
This role is a maximum term contract for a period of up to 12 months, working 21 hours / week - hours can be completed over 3, 4, or 5 days each week.
* This is a contract opportunity – working part-time 21 hours / week
* Base Salary Range: $46,413 - $54,602 pa based on 21 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $1,478 retention allowance
* You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

* Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
* Experience working within a HRIS (we utilise Cornerstone)
* Sound understanding of organisation development practices and approaches
* Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and policy
* Experience in deriving, analysing and presenting complex metrics
