Quality Manager – Dandenong South Site
Mondelez International operates six manufacturing plants across Australia, including the Dandenong South site which produces a diverse range of premium cracker products.
The site's state-of-the-art facility supports both flexibility and scale to meet retail partner requirements.
As Quality Manager you will direct, implement, maintain and administer all quality and food safety activities at the Dandenong South site.
You will be fully responsible for people, machinery and the identification and elimination of quality losses.
You will manage a team of Quality Partners, grow their capabilities and coordinate departmental activities in accordance with corporate, local and ISO standards.
You will play a key role in guaranteeing quality assurance across the site, protecting consumers, brand and reputation.
Your responsibilities include developing and executing the quality strategy, implementing robust systems and processes, building people capability across operations, and promoting a quality culture that drives awareness of food safety, operational efficiency and specification compliance.
You will partner with the site leadership team and external stakeholders to maximise effectiveness and ensure integration of the quality systems with Operations.
What you will bring
A passion for food safety and quality
10+ years relevant quality experience (Operations, R&D, Manufacturing)
Leadership competencies in coaching people and change management
Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities
Commercial strategy process, product/package development process, food safety, plant commercialization, ingredient and package technology, and training and coaching technical material
Effective communication skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
Proficiency with statistical processes and problem-solving techniques
Experience working with external manufacturing suppliers and technical vendors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
