Location - Geelong
Hybrid work model - 3 days a week with Mondays being compulsary.
These roles will be responsible for managing both the upfront procurement activities for IT Contracts below a defined organisational threshold, and the ongoing monitoring and compliance activities relating to key IT contracts.
Procurement activities will focus on ensuring effective and complaint procurement activities that balance both Victorian Government Procurement policies and the programmatic requirements of ITSS.
A strategic approach to procurement activities should be undertaken to where possible to provide the most effective and efficient approach to the market or Government Purchasing Panels.
Developing and leading the ITSS team to set procurement and contract targets, monitor performance and continually improve to meet business needs.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Experience in IT Contract Management and/ or Procurement role across a variety of process and functions, particularly in the areas of IT supply, license, support and service agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a Procurement and Contract Management function in a corporation or government department.
- Proven complex procurement experience with responsibility for delivery of procurement benefits including financial savings.
- Demonstrated expertise in building strong and productive working relationships within teams and with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong influencing skills at senior levels to influence acceptance of a new way of working.
- Excellent communication, written and influencing skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse information and present a clear, accurate summary to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and prioritise a plan of work in a team environment.
