Accounts Officer – Full Time Fixed Term to 28 February 2025

About the role:
The Accounts Officer is responsible for accounts payable and receivable tasks. This role manages the daily operations of our Account Payable, Accounts Receivable along with providing support to the Finance Officer and Finance Business Partner as required.
This is a newly created fixed term role will provide support to the small Finance team and play a crucial role in meeting the daily and monthly financial operational requirements.
The role will suit someone seeking to work 0.8 to 1.0 time fraction across 4-5 days.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you'll have sound accounts payable/receivable skills/experience and be committed to providing high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders, together with the ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a small team. You will have:
· years + experience in an Accounts payable or receivable position.
· A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred.
· Knowledge of agriculture industry would be highly regarded.
· Outstanding relationship management skills.
· Advanced user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· High level customer service skills including incoming and outgoing phone calls.
· A proven ability to meet deadlines, even when working under pressure.
