About the Role
This role is a full-time permanent opportunity based 5 days a week out of their Southeastern suburb office.
Key responsibilities include:
The Financial Accountant will manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance, while overseeing daily credit card and employee expense processes. They will maintain the fixed asset register, reconcile customer rebates, and provide support across audit activities and process improvements. The role requires strong reconciliation skills, practical problem-solving, and a hands-on approach to keep finance operations running smoothly during a busy and changing period.
About You
You are a hands-on, steady, and practical accountant with strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills. Experienced in month-end close, general ledger work, and daily financial processes, you can quickly pick up new systems and adapt to a busy, evolving environment. Exposure to D365 or Copper is highly desirable, and while industry background is flexible, experience in stock, inventory, or product-based operations is advantageous. You are organised, reliable, and ready to support both core accounting and audit-related activities with accuracy and efficiency.
