About the Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available as a Customer Development Manager for the region of Baldivis.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building effective business relationships with target customers using our newly introduced CRM platform and best-in-class promotional activity.
Through these relationships, you will understand customer needs, proactively solve problems, and identify areas to grow their share of spend with our organisation.
You will be accountable for the sales and gross margin performance of your territory, which comprises approximately 150 customers.
About You
* Interest in the automotive industry is essential for success in this role.
* Sales and/or customer management experience, preferably in the automotive sector, is highly valued.
* Ability to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets is crucial.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment within a high-performance sales team and customer-first culture is vital.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Attending and participating in sales meetings, trade shows, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments and product knowledge.
* Achieving sales budgets through proactive and innovative approaches, such as identifying new business opportunities and developing targeted sales strategies.
* Liaising and building relationships with customers and company stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Experience using CRM systems is highly beneficial.
* A valid Australian driver's licence is required for travel between customers and other business-related activities.
