Customer Service Officer – Master Builders SA

Master Builders SA is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team. As the first point of contact for members, apprentices, students and visitors, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience across our organisation.

About the Role
In this role, you'll support the Customer Service Team and wider Master Builders SA departments by ensuring smooth communication, accurate data management and positive interactions with members, apprentices and stakeholders.
You'll be the person who keeps things moving — from greeting visitors, answering enquiries and updating CRM records, to helping prepare training rooms and supporting our membership and training teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the friendly frontline contact for members, visitors, apprentices and stakeholders
* Manage and update member records to ensure CRM data integrity
* Support membership processes including issuing certificates, confirmations and renewals
* Raise and manage CRM cases and dashboard tasks
* Set up new members on the online portal (Master Suite)
* Coordinate product deliveries from the Master Builders SA online store
* Direct enquiries for new apprentices and host employers
* Meet and greet students attending Master Builders SA training
* Issue replacement White Cards
* Prepare classrooms, meeting rooms and membership lounge
* Assist with the set-up and pack-down of events and key meetings
* Provide admin support to other departments as needed
* Daily restocking and basic upkeep of coffee machines and staff kitchen
About You
We're looking for someone who is friendly, organised and eager to learn — someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
You will bring:
* At least 3 years of customer service experience
* Strong phone and email communication skills
* Experience with CRM or customer databases
* Great time-management and attention to detail
* Ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish
* Solid Microsoft Office capability
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* A positive, professional attitude and the resilience to manage competing priorities
Desirable:
* Qualifications in Business Administration
* Experience with VETtrak or similar systems
