Biloela Hospital is a 20‑bed hospital that caters for inpatients and outpatients including Emergency and Outpatient services, Maternity Services, General Medical and Surgical services. Support services include Community Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Immunisation, Child Health, Drug and Alcohol & Mental Health services, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Pathology, Physiotherapy and Oral Health.
About the role
This role provides expertise and advice to support the successful delivery of reinstating birthing services in Biloela. The Project Officer supports a multi‑disciplinary project team to effectively deliver all aspects of the project, using high level interpersonal, analytical and project management skills to navigate the project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of the projects in accordance with the agreed parameters of success including scope, time, cost and quality management principles.
- Prepare and disseminate high quality briefs, reports, submissions, ministerial correspondence and project documentation and communications.
- Produce reports on outcomes in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Initiate, develop, influence, and maintain effective working relationships between key internal and external stakeholders to gain support and understanding of project benefits.
About you
While there are no mandatory qualifications, a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management and/or Project Management would be well regarded.
- Expertise in applying project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and connect with others and build positive productive working relationships.
- Robust background in providing administrative support and delivering complex change management projects successfully.
- Well‑developed leadership and team management skills to build and sustain high‑profile multi‑disciplinary project teams to achieve high quality project outcomes.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $12,360.00 per month is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $61.20 - $65.56 per hour.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
